Description

The Brockton Rox are seeking individuals to assist in the Campanelli Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket operations interns will learn all elements of ticket sales and operations under the mentorship of the Ticket Operations Manager, Megan Houstle. Interns will assist the Ticket Operations Manager/Box Office Manager in day to day ticket sales, operations, and fulfillment duties. This person will work with our Glitnir Ticketing software system to help assist the Ticket Operations Manager to sell tickets to our customers over the phone and in person at our box office.

Responsibilities

Top Candidates will demonstrate:
-Career interest in the entertainment event industry and ticketing operations specifically
-Customer service background or experience
-Ability to be cool, calm and collected when dealing with customer complaints or challenges
-Outgoing personality
-Well organized
-Strong verbal communication skills
-The ability to handle multiple tasks at once
-Knowledgeable with computer software (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email)
-Ability to work well with others
-Uninterrupted availability from late May through mid August

Requirements

Responsibilities include:
-The ticket operations intern will report directly to the Ticket Operations Manager
-Assist or help the Ticket Operations Manager answering phones and directing customers to the appropriate Rox staff member
-Assist or help the Ticket Operations Manager completing mail order, ticket swaps, and voucher redemptions
-Working with ticketing software, Glitnir, to assist the Ticket Operations Manager to sell customers tickets over the phone or in person
-Assist or help the Ticket Operations Manager in managing part-time employees and setting their work schedule for game days and non-game days
-Assist the Ticket Operations Manager in delivering tickets to sponsors and package holders
-Assist the Ticket Operations Manager in informing customers of different seating options and ticket packages the Rox offer
-Additional promotional and stadium operations learning opportunities will be available in other areas of the team's operation to provide a more well-rounded understanding of the business, but primary responsibility will be to ticketing
-Additional responsibilities and duties as needed
