Work with a fast paced and diverse social media team to promote changing the world by empowering and connecting people globally through sport using networks such as facebook, twitter, google+, pinterest, tumblr, orkut (international), qzone (China), reddit, linkedin, etc.
• The company is looking for motivated, forward thinking, creative but critical minded individuals. Ideal candidates will avidly follow multiple sports. The company works as a team and although directly working with social media and with the user experience team on a daily basis the candidate would cohesively working with the entire company simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Social Media and to the User Experience team
• Read sports news and groom internet for quality content for our social media channels
• Monitor email campaign stats
• Comb the site for any issues, bugs, etc and catalogue them
• Suggest multiple solutions for problems presented on the site
• Team collaboration accross many departments
• Create report of email stats and social platform activity
• Research digital PR targets (sports sites and blogs)
• Check social features of the company website and insure everything is functioning correctly
• Post curated content to all of the companies social media channels
• Monitor and deliver feedback to managers of other social channels
• Monitor and run Facebook ads
• Develop new email campaigns to engage users
• Develop new social interactions and member communication features for the platform (ex: redesign the content boxes; developing rules and design for connecting members who may know each other; developing an interface to target specific subsets of users and send them email content based on their specific)

Requirements

• Have at minimum an undergraduate degree or in an undergraduate program
• Ideally, but not mandatory, studying Marketing, PR, or Journalism
• MUST avidly follow sports
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office
• Understanding of social networks; please submit a portfolio if you have one
• Experience would Photoshop, basic design software, video editing software is a plus
• Experience with adwords, facebook ads, etc is a plus
