By providing further education in health, environmental safety on and off the field, and the support of your family and friends, Got Hands? Has begun to excel in training every skill level of athlete in Football. Got Hands? Takes their camp a step further, to ensure the Mission of the camp is to “Prepare today’s youth, for tomorrow’s future “, and that is why throughout the camp Professional NFL Players and Collegiate athletes and area coaches will be involved to bring a sense of leadership and provide the knowledge and skill it takes to bring each athlete to their full potential.
The Future Stars League is a platform for hosting an elite all-star game between 6th, 7th, and 8th graders from two rival states. Our mission is to provide every student athlete the opportunity to showcase their talents among peers and their community. Our purpose and mission is to develop sportsmanship and personal football skills. This platform allows each player to demonstrate his or her talent on the football field as well as in their community.
We are currently looking for interns to assist with the preparation of the 2017 Future Stars League Championship Game. This position will work approximately 5-10 per week remotely.
Responsibilities- Assist with editorial projects and provide support to the Communications Editor.
- Proofreading both hard and electronic files, basic copyediting, and writing of proposals and reports;
- Assisting with or proofing of basic ads, flyers, brochures, invitations, etc.
- Work on special projects, as needed
Requirements- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English, business communications, or communication arts.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience/interest in Web maintenance
- Familiarity with Adobe In Design and Adobe Acrobat is a plus
