Description

We are looking for a young personality male or female to host our internet show HSA TV. You will be required to do interviews with local basketball players, cover events. This intern will be in front of the camera. You must have some knowledge about the game of basketball. You will be required to go out in the community to do interviews, write articles, write scripts, etc. If you want to become a sports Journalist or Sports commentator. This internship is for you. Houston Sports Access is a recruiting and scouting services that covers Houston Grassroots basketball. We also host basketball events. This is a flexible intern but will be beneficial to anyone who is trying to get started in the Sports Journalism business.

Responsibilities

You must come up with questions to interview various people in the Houston Basketball community. You will stay in contact with the Director or Assistant Director to come up with potential targets or next assignments. You must be flexible to make video shoots in various parts of Houston. You must be available on some weekends to cover events, interview players, coaches, event operators, team directors, parents or fans.

Requirements

You must have some knowledge of basketball; you must have decent writing skills, you must know to speak professionally in front of a camera. You must be willing to write scripts, utilize social media (twitter, instagram, etc)

Skills

Required - Great communications skills, Good Listener, Creative Writer
