RACE Cancer Foundation fights cancer through action and prevention. We produce kick-ass events to raise funds and awareness for organizations dedicated to kicking cancer's ass. Our Sunscreen Squad fights skin cancer by bringing free sunscreen dispensers to outdoor events across New England. Based in Boston, RACE is a Massachusetts non-profit organization and federally recognized as 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity. Nonprofit interns will work closely with our team to assist in varied projects focused on making our events awesome. Our small team and start-up environment will provide a unique opportunity for you to participate in all aspects of RACE Cancer Foundation's non-profit operations, while working alongside members of RaceMenu, a growing software and technology company.

This position is PAID.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
• Help plan and execute RACE events
• Drafting sponsorship proposals
• Researching and ordering promotional items
• General administrative duties as needed

Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:
• Entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work independently
• Willingness to get your hands dirty
• Availability on some weekends at races
• Frequent participation and/or work experience with running, cycling or triathlon events is a plus
