DescriptionReports to: Director of Operations/Team President/Team Vice President
Position Purpose: The Operations Intern is responsible for assisting the operations department on all aspects related to game day operations. This includes but not limited to: game week preparation, in game ceremonies, various other duties throughout game day, post game cleanup and various other tasks as they come up during the game week. We are seeking a passionate, hard-working dedicated intern with the self-motivation and desire to learn all facets involved in operating a professional sports team.
Assist the operations department with various projects and office tasks
Support the operations department with game day and Training initiatives
Proficiency working with various vendors, internal departments and communities to ensure the efficiency of the operations of the club
Responsible for providing support at various community and marketing events
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and demonstrate that s/he can perform the essential function of the job.
Current enrollment in college or university is required
Ideal candidate must have the proper skill set to function in a demanding, result oriented environment
Candidate should be professional, motivated, enthusiastic
Ability to resolve concerns expeditiously and independently
Able to work long, flexible hours including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must have excellent interpersonal written/verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and adapt to change when required
Must have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all internal staff and management as well as any external contractors
Provide helpful and courteous customer service to all individual and have the ability to problem solve as needed
Must be extremely well organized and able to prioritize efficiently
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
