Description

Lineage Interactive is seeking an intern who is well versed in online trends and has a passion for all things sports. You will play a major role in the updating, writing, and promotional aspects of client websites and will be directly responsible for cultivating and growing these sites through content aggregation and creation.

Lineage Interactive designs digital platforms with a tailored mix of tools and strategies to help you best communicate to your audience. Responsibilities

-In charge of keeping athlete websites up-to-date and current
-Search for and aggregate content about athletes
-Edit original content for grammar, spelling, and overall style
-Work with team to pitch story ideas and promotional tactics
-Learn analysis of analytics and draw insightful conclusions to enhance the magazine
-Study trends in online journalism, social media, and viral strategies

Requirements

-Must demonstrate editorial judgement
-Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs
-Knowledgeable about social media, blogging, viral strategies, etc.
-Familiar with a variety of online news sources and blogs
-Passionate about staying up-to-date on current events
-Candidate should have proficient grammar, spelling, and writing skills
-Comfortable working on multiple projects with tight deadlines
-Currently enrolled in a Bachelor program
-Must be able to receive college credit for this internship
-Understanding of WordPress is a plus
-Fluent Spanish Speaker/Writer Preferred
-Must be able to work in our office in LA
