Limitless Peak LLC, is a small startup company focused on developing compact able ski and snowboard equipment. Currently we are looking for journalism majors to support and build content on our website about the ski and snowboard industry for our nearly 8,000 social media subscribers. The internship will start as soon as we feel you are a perfect fit for the company, and will continue for a five month period. Interns will submit weekly articles discussing a certain topic within the ski,snowboard and outdoor recreation industry, as well as receive firsthand experience in the basic dynamics of how a startup works. Additionally we are working with hotels and resorts to be able to provide a real journalist experience, in which you as the intern would spend a weekend in a hotel or resort of your choice. Then write a report on the resorts features and benefits to be sent out to our subscribers. Interns will also gain experience in marketing, legal work, contracts, directing an advisory board and human resources.

Responsibilities

Basic tasks include: coordinating with our chief editor about your weekly articles progress, be able to produce at least one article ranging from 500-1500 words a week for the entirety of the internship; and correctly report and give credit to any sources used for your articles. Whether it be other articles, publications, interviews, brochures, images etc... in your work before being published.

Optional tasks include: participating and attending our companies monthly advisory board meetings

Requirements


-Have a passion for the outdoor sports industry
-Proficient in Microsoft Word
-Proficient in the English Language, both orally and in writing
-Must be outgoing and willing to take risks in the field of reporting
-Experience in the field of journalism
