DescriptionA new, upcoming website. Sportstop is a Sports News site created by high schoolers, and is in need of writers, editors, and website, and social media managers. The topics covered by the news site include: NBA , MLB, NFL, and more. This internship will provide the much needed portfolio for young aspiring journalists, and editors while also offering flexibility of schedule.
ResponsibilitiesThe primary goal is to evenly distribute the workload among staff members so that it does not become a grueling task for some.Each writer must choose a league to cover, and write 2 articles minimum, each week.Editors must review 4 articles each week before deadline.Website managers are required to post daily updates on the websites, as they are issued. Social Media Interns must provide daily updates, while attracting new followers.
RequirementsMust have a love of sports, with a deep knowledge of the covered league, while experience is not required, writers must be able to provide accurate information, without many grammar or spelling mistakes. Freshmen in high school, up to freshmen in college are desired for these positions.
SkillsRequired - Always Punctual, Diligent, Multicultural Sensitivity/Awareness
