Launched in the fall of 2011, the College Action Network started out at about 10 colleges. College Action Network Chapter Leaders will be responsible for planning screening events featuring REACT to FILMs social issue based documentaries. Each event aims to draw a large crowd, and uses an important social issue based documentary as the means for getting students to be more engaged in the issues facing themselves and others worldwide. Screenings are followed by a guest speaker (often film director or producer) or a panel discussion. REACT to FILM frequently uses Livestream technology to connect multiple colleges in the network for interactive video Q&As. The Pro Football Hall of Fame has the preeminent public or private historical collection of American Football memorabilia in the world. The museum is seeking a student who is interested in pursuing a career in a historical organization and has an interest in collections management. The student intern will be given an introduction into the history of professional football and the internal collections care practices of the museum. The student intern will assist staff in research projects and collections care of both artifacts and archival materials. He or she will have the opportunity to complete a registration project(s) in the collection by the end of the internship.
