Domovendo.com is a startup that aims to revolutionize the way residential real estate is sold.
How’s it done today? When selling a property, a typical home seller has limited choices: either engage a commission listing agent (85% of all sales in the US), or try to sell it by herself via “for sale by owner” (FSBO).
What are we going to do? We’ve developed a fundamentally different approach - one that calls for AI driven interface with the integrated marketplace of the vendors that guides the seller through the sales process while maximizing the value if the sale transaction to the seller in terms of time and money.
We are in the process of developing a beta site and working on fund raising to conduct a proof of concept test in the NJ/NY region.
The Company is looking for key talent to join the team in building this vision.
What’s your role? We really, really need people who are excellent, creative writers with an entrepreneurial edge. These people will be our Content Gurus.
What does this mean? Content Gurus will work on our website and marketing initiatives to drive growth.
Here’s the background. Our user interface works like a “planner”, meaning that on our site a typical home seller will be able to see the collection of steps he/she needs to undertake to sell their property without an agent. The “planner” will have about 25 steps such as establishing an asking price for the property, preparing the property for sale, taking photographs and videos, conducting an “open house” and so on.
Content Gurus will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and placing content relevant to a specific step of the sales process and communicating with vendors and customers. You will also promote it on social media.
Each Guru will take ownership of the content in a specific area of our site and develop it to make it as useful for the sellers as possible.
ResponsibilitiesWe expect our Gurus to devote about 5 to 8 hours a week to the company. You will be awarded stock option grants in return (so when we go public you get a nice big payday!)
Once the company receives its funding, the role may morph into a full time, permanent position that carries a combination of cash and additional stock compensation.
