DescriptionPinpoint Computer Services is an award winning IT service company, supporting business and home office users in the Metro NYC area. The company has been in business 11 years and prides itself on the phrase "we get your computers running right".
We provide service to companies and home office users who can not afford to hire a full time IT person.
On site and remote support options are available to our customers.
The position to be filled will require an intern with excellent technical abilities with skills to remotely connect via Logmein Rescue (we provide it) to resolve customer problems remotely.
This is mainly for windows based systems.
Good people skills for handling customer during remote problem resolution is a must.
Responsibilities-Suport customers remotely via Logmein rescue
- Handle administrative work
- Other duties as assigned.
RequirementsCandidates are required to be able to resolve remotely virus and malware issues. installation of software, re installation of corrupt software, troubleshoot printer issues etc. Also required are strong people skills. The ability to calm a distressed customer and focus on problem resolution for them is vital.
Additionally, candidate will be handling administrative work remotely. Work such as composing or updating and revising spreadsheets and other documents.
