DescriptionLama Theater Company is looking for curious, self-driven, creative artist with bubbly personality to join our team! The ideal candidate will come with enthusiasm for our various projects, passion for the artists we support and an interest in producing, and PR is highly encouraged.
The Lama Theater Company creates and produces new and bold writing through a number of national and international projects that is writer/director-driven. Lama generates new work that explores theatrical, psychological, political and social questions through a dialogue between artists of different disciplines and often of different cultural backgrounds. We are located at The Kraine Theater and our projects include:
• The Monthly Question (Monthly Cold Reading around Lama’s Question.)
• The Monthly Swap (An international swap between NYC & another country.)
• Lama’s Artistic Residency.
• Play in Development.
• Fest of the Best.
ResponsibilitiesAn internship with Lama Theater Company will offer the intern an opportunity to play a significant role in the Artistic, Development and Marketing filed to cultivate conversation around all Lama’s projects.
Fall and winter internships are available, with potential college credits on request. Interns volunteer for a minimum of two days per week, with occasional extra hours for assisting with productions and events. Hours can be flexible as most of the work can be accomplished online with company’s meetings.

RequirementsApplicants should have strong artist skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently and in a group, the ability to handle multiple projects at once and an interest in building a relationship between the theater and an audience. Experience with Design or video is a plus, but not required.
