Description

Theatre Reviews Limited, currently the highest-trafficked online theatre review website, seeks two motivated interns to help expand the site and ensure our content continues to reach an expansive audience. Interns will work closely with intern coordinator Sander Gusinow to ensure our continued success.

About Us:
Theatre Reviews Limited was originally launched in 1997 as one of the first online websites dedicated to reviewing Broadway, Off and Off-Off Broadway, Cabaret, and Theatre Festivals in New York City. It is now the most highly trafficked theatre website currently online. Our goal is to provide constructive criticism to support, not hinder the efforts of artists and new work. We believe that it is important to create an open dialogue between all artists and form collaboration in order to develop and maintain continued health in the theatre. The Web Development Intern may work remotely. A full description of the position follows.

Responsibilities

The web development intern will not only maintain the TRL website itself, but also help redesign the layout of the site to achieve a more innovative look. The intern will be responsible for posting approximately five reviews a week (given to them by the editorial intern) as well as promote TRL’s presence on social media. In your cover letter, please describe your experience with website development, how you think the site could improve visually and as an interface, and why working with a theatre reviewing site would be a good fit for you.
