DescriptionPet First Pet Care is an established and well-loved pet sitting and dog walking company, and we are seeking exceptional pet sitters/dog walkers to add to our great staff.

We currently need:
PET SITTERS/DOG WALKERS within 30 miles of the Lambert Airport. Must be willing to travel anywhere within 30 miles of the Lambert Airport.
Please note: You will start out slower so we can evaluate your skill, and more visits/walks are possible as business increase and your skill increase. If full time is what you prefer, you can work up to that pretty quickly.
(Please note: 'Daytime visit' is defined as all visits/walks, except overnight visits. 'Daytime visits' can occur anywhere from approximately 6 a.m.-10 p.m. However our most common visits are from around 11 a.m.-3 p.m.)
Established part time positions typically have about 18 daytime visits a week, typically ranging anywhere from about 15-60 minutes each (not including driving), with the pay for each daytime visit about $8-$12.50. This does not include any raises that may be offered, which would increase pay per visit.
Established full time positions typically have about 35-40 visits a week, typically ranging anywhere from about 15-60 minutes each (not including driving), with the pay for each daytime visit about $8-$12.50. This does not include any raises that may be offered, which would increase pay per visit.

Requirements*You are willing to drive anywhere within 30 miles of the Lambert Airport.
*You have a smart phone.
*You are neat, tidy and respectful in clients' homes.
*You have an insured and reliable car.
*You have a valid driver's license.
*You are comfortable dealing with animal messes and poo.
*You are comfortable walking 2 dogs at a time.
*You feel comfortable walking both BIG and small dogs. Big dogs can be up to 100 pounds.
*You are comfortable being trained to administer medication/injections to animals that require it.
*You are able to commit to a random work schedule. This position requires a great deal of flexibility and adaptability as to hours of work. There will be early morning (6-8 a.m.) as well as late night (9-10 p.m.) visits required by some clients. We get last minute calls frequently by clients, but try to give sitters as much notice as possible. Animals must be seen regardless and we are responsible for them once taking the assignment on.
*You are available for weekends, holidays, and short notice assignments.
*You absolutely LOVE animals.
*You are ok with not asking off during the months of November-January. (Unless it is an urgent personal matter, or for medical reasons), as this is our busiest time of year. We are however closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
*You can easily pass a criminal / background check.
