DescriptionTWELV’s vision is to combine a creatively common perspective for an audience who has a refined taste but is a bit tired of the usual high-end fashion magazines. This includes the in-the-know, city and international tastemakers who express themselves as a real movement through music, fashion and art. TWELV features the most dynamic mix of band reports, actor interviews, behind-the-scene coverage of art in progress, and the umbrella of fashion. TWELV donates 12% of magazine and web sales to charities such as WFP USA, MSF, and UNDP. Notable editorial coverage includes: Lake Bell, Yoko Ono, Sybil Buck, Neve Campbell, FUN., Neon Trees, Mischa Barton, Joe McKenna, and Real Estate among many others.
TWELV offers their interns a very hands-on experience and involves them in high-fashion's rapid culture. Our interns are offered the opportunity to work closely with the magazine's editing, fashion, and public relation branches. We offer school credit.
TWELV seeks an enthusiastic EDITOR/WRITER ASSISTANT to assign and edit features with a concentration on news, profiles, fashion, arts, film, and trends.
The ideal candidate is independently driven, intuitive of fashion and public relations, and most importantly, has compelling writing skills. As a EDITOR ASSISTANT, you are expected to be heavily involved with our website, contribute ideas and articles, and work closely with the Fashion and Editors team. TWELV is looking for writers willing to submerge themselves in fashion's fast-paced culture and involve him/herself with the magazine. EDITOR ASSISTANT will work very closely with the editing team and assist with additional priorities.
