Chatter Buzz is looking for talented Editorial Assistants and Content Writers.
ResponsibilitiesThe editorial assistant /content writer will support client demand through the creation of articles, press releases, marketing collateral, letters, resumes, optimized LinkedIn profiles, e-newsletters and other communication products for magazines, corporate and individual clients.
The editorial assistant/content writer will also assist in interviewing sources, conducting editorial research, fact-checking, proofing and editing.
Finally, the editorial intern/content writer will assist in social media efforts and general office management for an emerging new media venture.
Interns will leave with a wealth of hands-on experience, a variety of writing samples for their portfolios, recommendation letters, polished resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile, plus insider knowledge on career branding and strategies for making money from writing.
RequirementsThe editorial assistant/content writer must have superior writing, research and customer service skills, plus flawless phone etiquette.
Must have superb ability to communicate professionally via e-mail.
Must be detail-oriented, and familiar with Microsoft Word.
Preferred proficiency using Excel, GoogleDocs, and WordPress.
