Lupus Survival Guide
DescriptionLupusChick, Inc., a division of TAL, Inc., is a health-related website and blog that posts information related to Lupus, Autoimmune diseases, health, nutrition, etc. We are an award winning website and blog and one of the largest Lupus websites in the world. We have currently undergone a major rebranding and it has been a successful endeavor. We are in need of interns who have a passion for health, nutrition, medicine, science, cooking, healthy recipes and a love for writing.
This internship can help you build your writing/social communications portfolio and establish yourself as a published writer in the health industry. Come enjoy a flexible, telecommuting and creative work environment, where you will be under the guidance of a published author who has years of journalism experience under her belt. LupusChick, Inc. was just named a top health blog again by Healthline.com.
Interns should want to build their writing portfolio and be in a Journalism, Media, English, or Communications field. A health field will be considered, as long as excellent writing abilities are proven. Our interns will be treated as columnists, who will contribute to continual content on the site, with the potential of having their own area of expertise. You will also be ghostwriting on occasion. You must be able to work well with a team and with an editor, and be willing to edit your work before it is published to the site. Experience with WIX is helpful but not necessary. You may also be responsible for posting articles to our various social media accounts. Interns who have any marketing experience, or can suggest ways to help us build our brand will be considered first.
