This is because we strive to make our articles informative and relatable, and help our audience make better everyday choices by giving them a broader perspective. We are a growing company that is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic, internet-savvy individuals. This is a great internship opportunity for college students or recent graduates interested in PR, Journalism, Mass Communications, Marketing, and Fashion to gain the experience necessary for employment in the future.
As a Beauty Editor intern, you will cover all men and women related content that relates to our target audience. The candidate must have knowledge of various brands and products, possess the research skills necessary to keep our readers abreast and informed of the latest trends in beauty. The candidate must also have the ability to build relationships with other beauty experts and bloggers.
Responsibilities*Research, write and present all cosmetic related content for the face, hair and body.
*Cover emerging beauty trends and hot items.
*Write regular beauty features ranging from runway to celebrity beauty trends.
*Write regular commentary addressing psycho-social aspects of beauty.
*Interview industry insiders and attend related events as necessary.
RequirementsPreferably you should be a college undergraduate or graduate studying
Journalism or English, and have prior written/reporting experience with your school newspaper or other publication. Recent college graduates and bloggers are also welcome to apply. Applicants from New York City, Los Angeles, and Atlanta area strongly encouraged to apply. Yet, location is not as important as skill and requirement.
