DescriptionWrite original articles on entrepreneurs and startups from around the world!
We are a global English-language business website (www.tharawat-magazine.com) with hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors that publishes business news, buzz, best practice, and interview pieces, and are looking for strong, analytical writers who can do profile pieces and investigative journalism.
This is a "telecommuting" virtual position, which means you will be working remotely via Skype and submitting articles over email. However, there will be weekly video chat discussions and meetings.
Visit our Media Gallery page and experience the types of profile pieces that you will write as an intern. You will research entrepreneurs, startups, and business leaders around the world and write 500 word profile articles highlighting their impact on the world (http://www.tharawat-magazine.com/en/media-gallery.html).
As an intern, your contributions go right up on our site with full credit to you, making this an excellent opportunity to build up real-world business writing experience and building up your resume.
ResponsibilitiesThe intern will research and write profile articles that are assigned daily. In addition, the intern will continuously brainstorm with members of the editorial staff on article ideas, and different ways to improve the reach and impact of articles.
RequirementsMust be a current/past undergraduate or graduate student.
Degree in any field or study (journalism, business, economics majors a plus), but must be a strong writer familiar with the AP news writing style.
Must also have a strong interest in business and economics.
