DescriptionLadlas Prince LLC is seeking a Business Writer to become apart of our office team. We are a growing small business consutling firm expanding in the downtown Pontiac area. We are looking for someone that is energetic, and with excellent writing skills and motivation.
Business Writer (Coop/Intern) position
Good performance in 90 days will lead to paid fulltime or part time hire (your choice).
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Prepare reports, such as sales proposals, for our business development staff.
-Write reports about our internal/special projects like re-engineering, parts of annual financial reports, business plans or strategic plans.
-Explain facts about our business for audiences that need background information in order to understand our proposal, plan, or report.
-Research different topics, observe work processes and practices or conduct interviews.
-Read books or research internet sources in order to gain an understanding of different topics.
-Organize the material you have gathered and use words to convey the information to applicable readers.
-Revise documents several times, since those working on the project or plan often provide additional information. -Prepare page layouts and incorporate graphic images with the text.
- Release any documentation following final approval
- Creating and writing various types of user documentation
- Meet with customer representatives, vendors and publishers to establish specifications
