Description

We are looking for that special someone that shares the same passion for philanthropy, youth, and community development that we do. The Adrenal Foundation, is a national nonprofit organization that is committed to providing support, information and education to individuals suffering from adrenal fatigue and other diseases of the adrenal glands, and we could use an extra pair of adrenals (hands). We are hoping to find a Grant Writer who will develop and write grant proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations, and will persuasively communicate SEEK's mission and programs to potential funders.

So why join forces with us? For starters, we are awesome! Just kidding! But seriously, the adrenal foundation is very passionate about helping others. Though we are somewhat known in the Chicago area and respected, we’re still a burgeoning nonprofit. By you coming on board, you’ll get in on the ground floor of building one of the most impactful organizations in Chicago as it pertains to helping our youth. You’ll learn from us about the idiosyncrasies of how to build a sustainable nonprofit from the legal side to the financial. You’ll also get to work with our incredible Board of Directors and pick their brain.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is entrepreneurially minded and wants to use his or her own two hands to grow a real business. It’ll do wonders for you professionally, socially, and hopefully spiritually.

Now, let’s talk money. I’ll be honest, there’s no money right now to pay anyone that’s involved in the Adrenal Foundation. So you’ve got to be prepared to put in some free sweat equity with this one. However, we do have a strategic 12-month plan to get grant funding that will pay our management team for their incredible work. Hopefully, you can help us make that a reality.
