Wanda McKiver Productions, LLC. is a full scale entertainment company. Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of communication strategies and campaigns for a variety of media, marketing, public relations, and change management programs
Collect and interpret informational material to support and promote association activities and services to internal and external stakeholders, policyholders and the general public
Develop and maintain working relationships with pertinent internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective dissemination of informational material
Plan, compose, verify, edit, and distribute appropriate informational materials, press releases, speeches, presentations, articles, bulletins, presentations, newsletters, brochures, graphic and photographic illustrations, web content, and other collateral concerning the Associations’ programs and activities
Estimate costs, develop specification and make recommendations on securing and accepting bids for printing; maintain contact with printing contractors to assure quality control; review and correct printers' galley proofs
Support all functions of media relations including public appearances, media inquiries, etc.​; prepare or edit talking points or other materials as needed
Monitor news publications and social media for news related to the Association and recommend proactive strategies for responding to inquiries and/​or preparing draft responses to news stories
Support community outreach strategies; coordinate outreach events
Work with requisite media, web and social networking monitoring and analytical tools; analyze and interpret data, identify trends and prepare professional reports for senior leadership
Create highly optimized content, support engagement, and manage organizations’ social media platforms
Plan, schedule and maintain master editorial calendars as well as outreach and social media calendars
Act as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards and consistency in all projects.​
Perform ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned


The ideal candidate is intellectually curious and capable of assimilating new information quickly; interpreting, analyzing, and condensing technical information to create compelling and relatable narratives.​ The work environment is fast-paced and includes opportunities to work on a wide-range of public relations and communications activities.​ We are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic that can balance multiple high-priority projects and assignments simultaneously, produce quality deliverables with minimal direction, and that can solve problems creatively.​ This role is well suited for a self-starter who likes to do a variety of content-rich, engaging work.​ This person engages regularly with all levels of the organization, including C-suite executives, and must be able to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external partners.​ Experience in social media, web content management and knowledge management systems a plus.​
