DescriptionThe Citizen Geography Project is looking for a technically skilled person to assist with research and management of digital content used for analysis and publication. The content is related to land use, land development, and water resources.
This position will result in publication of articles and the intern will be given credit for the research and content management role.

ResponsibilitiesThe tasks completed during the summer internship will include:
Creating and maintaining a digital repository and index of media content and public documents related to land use, land development and water policy.
Review and summaries of land use and land development articles in local and national news sources.
Review of the land planning meeting agendas for cities and counties in Central California.
Research and summary of state legislation or policies related to land use and land development.
Phone and e-mail interviews with land attorneys, land surveyors, land developers, realtors, economists, city officials, and county officials.
Article writing and editing.
Online editing and publication in Wordpress.
