DescriptionFar more than simply an art gallery, the Peace Mural Foundation is a catalyst to action as it evokes participation and civic engagement, calling forth from viewers a response through reflection, dialogue and action for peace and justice. Focus on educating the general public through artistic mediums.
As a Content Writer intern you will be working on a team of 5-6 other interns to promote our current Hilary Clinton project. As the Content Writer, you will be responsible for writing original pieces to be published on the website detailing the current political environment. As a team you will create the PR/marketing campaign, reach out to the local media (and any other organizations involved with the Clintons), and learn about current political issues! Your team will also be in charge of creating/hosting an event for the mural’s unveiling during Art Basel!
ResponsibilitiesAs the Content Writer, you will write and publish original articles about the current political environment, and how that affects each and every one of us. You will source relevant material for the articles, and be responsible for researching the material and staying up to date on current events.
As a team you will create the PR/marketing campaign, reach out to the local media (and any other organizations involved with the Clintons), and learn about current political issues! Your team will also be in charge of creating/hosting an event for the mural’s unveiling during Art Basel. Update social media and establish relations with the Miami Beach and National audience.
RequirementsPursuant of a degree in Journalism, or Communications.
Interest & Love for America and its politics, and art, be able to write one article per week.
