DescriptionSmith VA Services is a multi-VA team that provides virtual support to entrepreneurs across the United States in various industries. Our mission is to work with heart-centered entrepreneurs and provide them with support that allows them to focus on their passion, which is reaching their clients in a manner that increases conversions and spread the news of their company.
The internship position will be a copywriter who provides copy for blog posts, email campaigns, ads and possibly courses. Ideas, topics, and flow will be provided by owner. Looking for up to three blog posts a week and one email campaign a week. Courses will come along later, sales pages will be as new products are completed.
ResponsibilitiesIntern will be required to:
-Touch base daily on work completed
-Have all copy for the upcoming week turned in by Wednesday of the current week
-Make edits when necessary based on requests from the owner
-Participate in weekly team meeting
-Respond to all communications via email within 24 hours, chat within 1-2 hours
RequirementsLooking for someone who is/has majored in Journalism or English. Solid knowledge of the written English language and is able to learn quickly how to speak in the owner's voice without a lot of micromanaging, proofing/editing.
Ability to work without a lot of supervision, but willing to reach out and ask questions when there is a problem or confusion of a task given.
All copy created during this internship will remain property of the company and not reused or published anywhere during or after the internship.
A team member who is willing to grow with the company and consider a full time position in the future.
