Why: You're an extro/introvert and you don't know what to do with it. You're on social media anyway. You're a blogger. You want to expand your portfolio and test your wheels at an exciting new industry, you want some fun and flexibility in your life. You are a go-getter and you are very creative.

Responsibilities

We are searching for an intern to freelance WFH copywriter who wants to expand his/her portfolio and break into advertising by learning everything there is to know about copywriting, social media, blogging, and fashion ghostwriting. If you're a @ # freak and reliable - this position is for you!

We are also searching for an intern to freelance artist who wants to expand his/her portfolio and create comics, infographics, graphics, animations and build their art portfolio. Must have basic experience, adobe photoshop, and be reliable.

Copy: Your resume, 2 of your strongest writing samples, and an online portfolio link/email that showcases your creative copywriting skills and any social media management you’ve done.

Design: Your resume, 1 of each - design/animation/infographic you've created.

Developer: Your resume, a Wordpress site you've created or worked on, a custom site you've had a hand in/worked on.

Our position opens doors for references and exponential learning, as we provide you with a full portfolio of your accomplishments at the end of your experience and if you can match the tone and needs of our clients we will bring you on for part-time, full time, or freelance work.

Internship ranges from 2-4 months depending upon what level your is. Permanent positions available once provisional period is over.

This is an ideal position for someone who does not yet know if the field of writing/marketing & advertising is for them, but thinks it may be.

School credit may also be given for journalism majors. We are predominantly a teaching internship that turns into freelance. We run weekly brainstorm meetings in downtown Culver City, CA - but your work is done offsite. We are flexible with additional school and work schedules, but have very tight deadlines. References, experience, portfolio included. Part-time/freelance salary DOE, but must reach Tier 3 accounts.

Off-site with required training once weekly. Laptop required, but all positions are WFH. Mandatory monthly meetings.

Requirements

Possible requirements:

* In school or out is fine. If you have a degree and need full-time income this is not for you. This gig is intern-to-hire. Rate DOE/tier 1-7 for voice and tone matching each individual client once 3 month internship is complete.

* Some knowledge of social media, even if not mastery. CMS, Wordpress, Hootsuite, Buffer App, all of that accordingly.

*Blog skills, editing skills, professional writing, business writing/seo, creative writing, infographics, memes, humor (viral content)

*You know html/some php/coding but want to learn more under a serious professional. MUST KNOW BASICS, be patient, and be willing to take the time.
