DescriptionLimitless North is currently seeking to fill intern positions related to creative writing and composing short ebooks (4500 words).
Each intern will undertake the task of composing inspired, well researched, and well-written ebooks about a variety of topics throughout the summer.
Intern should have a desire to expand their creative writing and research skills through composing a variety of brief, concise, and inspirational non-fiction ebooks.
ResponsibilitiesOVERVIEW: Writing needs to be 100% original, and must feel creative and inspired.
TOPICS: The topics will vary greatly and will require light online research into the given subject.
RESEARCH: All research can be done online via sifting through various sources and combining the best points and perspectives. Most of the books will also draw from the interns own common sense and personal experience. We are looking for a strong creative voice for this internship.
LENGTH: The books will be short ebooks, about 6 chapters and approximately 4500 words minimum. Some subjects will require more length, and others still will need to be broken into a series of books to allow for specification.
PROCESS: Intern will be given, or may be asked to select, a specific topic. Each topic will be studied, researched, and delved into by the intern, pulling from a variety of sources and gaining a broad overview and perspective on the material. Intern will develop an overview for the ebook, given the general topic and direction of the subject, and will then complete a rough draft at which point further direction may be given.
The final stage will be completing a polished piece on the subject and writing a distinct and captivating book description.
TIME REQUIREMENTS: The average workload will be 1-2 hours per day, worked on interns own schedule and preference. By devoting small periods of time to the task each day, this internship should be very easily manageable, and highly rewarding.
RequirementsFor this position, the intern must have great grammar, be proficient in English, have a strong creative writing voice, and must be diligent, organized, and self-motivated.
Intern should be focused and able to translate well researched content into an inspired personal form of writing.
