Description

Vahlte is a cutting-edge start-up at the cross-section of tech, luxury e-commerce, and marketing. We are currently ramping up to launch in the fall of 2015 and have many opportunities for candidates with the right characteristics. All positions start off as unpaid internships however candidates who prove themselves to be indispensable will receive an offer for a full-time or part-time position post-launch.

You will work with the CEO, the marketing team, bloggers and various luxury brands to oversee all content on the platform ranging from product descriptions, to blog articles, to e-mail marketing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring all written content reflects Vahlte’s brand ethos and is of the highest caliber.

Candidates will be exposed to a dynamic high-growth company that empowers its team to be proactive and take initiatives. You will have guidance but you will also be taught the skills to figure things out on your own and empowered to take initiatives. Responsibilities

- Assist with editorial projects and provide support to the CEO and marketing team.
- Proofreading both hard and electronic files, basic copyediting, and will assist in writing of basic reports.
- Assisting with or proofing of blog articles, brand descriptions, and e-mail marketing campaigns.
- Work on special projects, as needed.

Requirements

- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English, business communications, or communication arts.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience/interest in Web maintenance
- Familiarity with Adobe In Design and Adobe Acrobat is a plus
-Familiarity with art or jewelry history and/or familiarity with jewelry is very useful but not mandatory.
