The most immediate project with Huey Media (Charlotte, NC) will be to assist the author and assistant, Marguerite Nocchi (Los Angeles) with the preparation of the development, publishing and marketing of "Perpetual II, Development", the second in the series. the first novel, "Perpetual, Research," was released in 2008 by Xlibris, a division of Random House/Penguin books.

Additional opportunities:
Huey Media and Perpetual Productions, Charlotte, NC, in conjunction with Ford Studios, Asheville, NC and key "A" list affiliates in Los Angeles are seeking interns. 1) For film and publishing industry marketing and research, and/or 2) administration, editing, research and processing information to and from studios, agents, publishers, etc. and/or and 3) assisting in fiction novel, screenplay and TV Series pilot and bible (plot, premise, themes, weekly summary of first 13 episodes) writing projects. All interns will assist with current projects which include: a) Two full length animated films, b) One large budget feature live action film, "Perpetual" and c) three to five quick to video and international distribution films based on highly acclaimed novelist works.

Responsibilities

Writing, editing and proofing; and/or, administration, networking and marketing; and/or assisting in the coordination of publishing a novel, developing a film and/or raising capital for producing an animated or live action film. Our interns will have access to all levels of the process from the first page of the screenplay (or novel) to selling the project to additional partner producers (or publishers), and studios. Unlike a cubical position with a large firm, your greatest benefit is involvement in all levels of the process. This will be priceless toward developing and obtaining your career goals and aspirations as a writer, film professional, published novelist, or other professional positions in the publishing or film industries.

Requirements

Degrees in or pursuing degrees in any of the following disciplines: English, Journalism, Film, Theater, Literature, i.e., Writing Disciplines. You should already possess a passion for writing and have an interest in the publishing and/or film industries. You will completely desire to learn, connect and eventually attain a full-fledged career in writing (novels, screenplays and TV series pilots and scripts) or film (research, all level contact management and project development from script to filming and distribution). The ability to work independently on tasks is advantageous and to have an outgoing personality. Stated another way, you are not afraid to get on the phone and talk to the administrative assistant for a major publisher, or even the producer of "Superman Returns," or "Bourne Identity," for example, or to set up a meeting with five screenplay writers, or even the President of Sony Pictures. ** You can enter into and complete this internship from remote locations, such as your university, or from your home if your have graduated **
