DescriptionSeeking an experienced Fashion &lifestyle Content Writers. We are looking for a creative, passionate writers. This is a very hands-on job—interns will help the web editors report, write, edit, photo-research, and produce stories. The ideal applicant is a web-savvy self-starter who’s passionate about all things politics, pop culture, media, and style. Candidates should have some journalism and/or web experience and excellent writing abilities. This is an unpaid internship, and interns must receive college credit. Additionally, one of the interns should be more style-focused, so an interest in fashion is a plus.
A background of professional experience and personal interest in fashion and culture.
Exceptional writing and editing skills.
The ability to collaborate and also work independently when needed
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
Must have the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirementsesearch and write daily, relevant and on-brand content stories and features for the .
Be responsible for updating the blog daily, and be the last pair of eyes on content before it goes live.
Maintain the voice of the brand in all written material.
Collaborate with marketing, PR and creative teams to develop, maintain and implement editorial calendars.
Collaborate on content ideas, best practices, and optimization.
Monitor competitors on a regular basis to ensure that all content remains unique.
Represent the brand off- and online in the wild world of fashion editorial.
Develop relationships with writers, bloggers and brand-relevant content creators.
Take on additional company projects as needed.
