DescriptionWhat is the Fitness U?
TheFitnessU.com is a new online fitness website for college students. We emphasize the importance of mental, physical and spiritual health in order to live a healthy and well-balanced life. We know college is a stressful time, which is why we want to give people a well-informed place to turn when they are looking for information on how to begin living a healthy lifestyle.
TheFitnessU.com has national and University specific content. On the national site we feature articles from professions within the mental health, fitness and nutrition fields. We also are aware that not every college student is concerned with what is going on outside of their University, which is why we created the University section of the website. The University branch will publish articles relevant to their area and University.
We want people to come to thefitnessu.com to learn about total body fitness, meaning that we publish articles about physical, mental and spiritual health. We target college students because we believe that college is the first time people are on their own to make healthy choices. Our website is all about balance, therefore we do not talk about NOT eating certain foods or labeling some things as bad and good since everything can be okay in moderation.
