DescriptionBlacktina Magazine is an online platform created by an Afro-Latina/Black Hispanic of Panamanian and Colombian descent, for fellow Afro-Latinas/Black Hispanics. This platform is updated daily with concretely curated content relevant to the Afro-Latina/Black Hispanic community. With unique cultures and mixed identities, Afro-Latinas/Black Hispanics are often overlooked and ignored, and dichotomized as either "black" or "hispanic." Through the coverage of cutting edge Latino and African American news, popular culture and politics, Blacktina’s editorial approach seeks to celebrate, inspire, inform, and give voice to today’s young urban Afro-Latina.
