The Hughes Media Group seeks a passionate and able Development Intern to help with fundraising efforts for our clientele and development projects for the whole of 2014 Calendar Year.
This is an unpaid internship, however, a small travel stipend will be provided. We also can provide opportunities were income can be earned. We are also happy to work with students to obtain credit towards coursework. The Development Intern will be expected to work 15-20 hours a week. Ideally, the position will last 6-9 months or longer.

ResponsibilitiesThe Development Intern will work closely with development staff on data entry, data management, event planning, research, and administrative tasks related to fundraising. He or she will gain valuable knowledge and experience in the following areas:
Fundraising for For Profits/Non- for- Profits including all season, annual & year-end campaigns
Raiser’s Edge software, a widely used program in the non-profit world and coveted by many seeking to hire development, administrative, and program staff
Relationship building and stewardship
Budget (sponsorship, donor, anonymous donations & gift donations) management and Research
Looking for Creative Multimedia Personnel in the Media Arts such as Audio, Video, Illustration, Graphics and etc…
