DescriptionOur company is a production company that owns and operates a popular online entertainment blog. We are looking for interns in Atlanta to assist with the blog site as well as other business ventures such as artist management, bookings and scheduling interviews for our popular online radio show.
ResponsibilitiesInterns are expected to have experience with social media on (at least) a personal level (use on a business level preferred). You must be able to think strategically interns must be able set up a schedule and then carry them out (with our assistance). You must be able provide creative ideas on ways to attract not only our target market but BEYOND!
Interns will be performing the following tasks:
Creating new blog posts as well as uploading videos, photo albums, etc and promoting it on (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
Finding users to follow/friend/like our business
Tracking the growth and the impact of social media on our business
Replying to comments, messages, etc.
Report findings to the Owner of the company
Consistently ask any and all pertinent questions
Ability create and upload Twitter & YouTube backgrounds, and minor video editing skills are a PLUS!!
RequirementsSkills and attributes interns are expected to have:
Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
Be creative with an eye for design; Organized and timely
Ability to develop a detailed and professional marketing plan
Flexible availability (10-15 hours/week); some work may be completed from home or in a comfortable setting of choice
Experience with Mac and working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Google
Knowledge of social media -- Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, etc.
Willingness to create video blogs, write press releases, and Facebook, IG & Twitter posts daily
Be energetic with an open mind to this business and the industry it is in
Ability to identify a target market and "speak" to that consumer through social media
Experience in proofreading and editing
Ability to manage any situation under pressure or uncertainty
Intern must be 21 and older, have reliable transportation and be available for long nights out networking at certain events.
