Description

Agape is a lay, Catholic community, dedicated to nonviolence and sustainability, living an integrated life. After 32 years, young people are interested in our life on the land and come from various colleges, universities, wwoofing as all are welcome, and the community is open to all. We grow our own food, drive a vegetable oil car, live in a straw bale house and provide activities for inner city youth, experiences in peacemaking for all who come and try to live our convictions. Our sustainability programs offer short and long term volunteering and internships, including college credit on the undergrad and grad level.

Responsibilities

We have a day of work in the garden, hauling, splitting and stacking wood, growing our own organic food, welcoming guests and visitors, many from other countries, especially during the summer. The internship can be a long-term opportunity which will be discussed upon inquiry.
