DescriptionBody-N-Motion is offering a phenomenal internship opportunity to qualified students. Michael White, owner of Body-N-Motion, has over 26:years experience in personal training, physical rehabilitation, body building, physical therapy, nutritional advising, business management, and marketing strategies. Our interns learn and practice different aspects of running a personal training business and have the unique opportunity to learn directly from Michael White.
Our Human Performance Specialists at Body-N-Motion are some of the best in Indianapolis. Body-N-Motion will be happy to fill out any paperwork or provide mentoring in support of a student pursuing academic credit for the experience at his/her university. Interns are assigned a Specialist to shadow while they learn the important tecniques and training methods we use here. Once Body-N-Motion sees the intern is ready, they are given their own clients to train, programs to write and advise nutritional plans for their clients.
Contrary to the monotony of corporate fitness facilities, daily tasks at Body-N-Motion vary, and each day is slightly different. Interns will continue to be challenged physically and mentally, providing a fulfilling, educational, and fun experience.
ResponsibilitiesResearch & design marketing strategies to promote body-n-motion along with themselves to potential clients work with experienced trainers and ownership on together putting plans into action.
Make their own personal profile for flyer to market their services
Design weekly workouts 2 per week total body
Then we will work on specific issues and routines
Weekly healthy recipe
Weekly Blog on a fitness related subject
Shadowing training sessions, learning stretching, working on current clients with current trainers, evolving program design and learning to do self sessions.
Working on sales techniques, phone scripts to attempt to build up a clientele through some of our inactive clients and through health fairs and other marketing opportunities.
Making sure all cleaning and that the facility is looking good and presentable at all times
Help with social media.
RequirementsBody-N-Motion is seeking motivated, enthusiastic, responsible students who are passionate about guiding clients to their personal goals.
Students should be in junior or senior standing
2.8 GPA or higher
Students should also have a basic knowledge of anatomy, nutrition, and fitness program design
