DescriptionDH Catering + Event Planning is looking for a Marketing + Events Assistant to start immediately. This is a non-paid position; however, you may be able to receive college credit.
Are you a creative individual who enjoys planning, organizing and executing large and small scale events? Are you highly organized and able to assist in the marketing of our company’s brands?
We are looking for someone to support the Marketing Coordinator in daily tasks which include, but are not limited to, creating and compiling event packages, monitoring the company’s online presence (Yelp, Trip Advisor, Facebook and Twitter), assisting in the development and implementation of key marketing priorities, etc.
Internship/Assistant Position may have opportunity for a full-time, permanent position.
ResponsibilitiesThe intern will learn about marketing and PR support through a variety of tasks which include entering client contact data into customer relationship management database, conference and event support, online research, creating and compiling event packages, monitoring the company’s online presence (Yelp, Trip Advisor, Facebook and Twitter), assisting in the development and implementation of key marketing priorities, etc.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate MUST:
Be able to multi-task
Have a positive attitude
Possess strong communication and listening skills
Have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Be available to work 20-30 hours per week
