Description

This role develops digital marketing materials including web pages, email campaigns, and video/multimedia communications to build a strong marketing image, increase audience awareness and positively impact sales growth. This role partners with other Marketing Communications team members to plan, execute, and deliver multimedia projects

Responsibilities

• Partners with Marketing Communications staff project managers to develop digital marketing communications which will include rich motion graphic videos, promotional emails, mini sites, banners and other multimedia outreach to support product sales, and other marketing promotions.
• Translates storyboards, conceptual ideas and business needs into high-end interactive multimedia using computer graphics, illustrations, audio, sound effects, motion graphics, video, animation, and special effects
• Applies current web usability principles and multimedia best practices, including cross-browser and device compatibility, to all projects
• Collaborates with writers on scripting of video and multimedia productions
• Effectively communicates with all levels of technical and business resources
• Effectively communicates relevant project information, including project changes and challenges as they arise, to project team and managers
• Ensures projects have consistency with corporate look and brand image including style, tone and quality
• Introduces and teaches new ideas/concepts/technology to improve marketing and team effectiveness especially in the areas of email, web design and social media
• Executes duplication and distribution of multimedia materials
• Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Follows and documents processes and procedures for multimedia production

Hours Per Week: 15-20
Hourly Rate: $10-15 depending on experience

Requirements

• Knowledge of multimedia marketing techniques and tactics
• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in field related to multimedia design, video production or such related fields
• Experience in multimedia development using CSS, Flash/HTML, Dreamweaver and/or other web design/development tools/languages
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially:
o Flash
o Dreamweaver
o Fireworks
o Photoshop
o Illustrator
o InDesign
o After Effects
• Experience in audio editing, sound mixing, and video recording, editing and production using tools for PC environments including Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of video formats for delivery to multiple platforms: Internet, TV, smart phones, iPad, etc
• Knowledge of video compression formats
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within communications and web design areas
• Ability to prioritize/reprioritize as necessary in order to meet deadlines
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work proactively and effectively with internal business partners, Marketing communications team members, graphic designers.
• Organized and self motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
