Description

Preservation Louisville is seeking an intern to assist the organization with fundraising and development. The development projects will include, both, local fundraising campaigns, major donor grant research and writing. These activities provide an excellent opportunity for motivated students in the fields of non-profit development, event planning, hospitality, communications and marketing to work with the Preservation Louisville staff in all areas to gain meaningful experience.

Responsibilities

Summary of Tasks: -Grant writing and research -Donor Outreach -Setup and execution of fundraising initiatives -Attend and participate in event planning meetings -Design and produce event brochures, letters, flyers, etc.

Requirements

Desired Skills: -Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot one's own work -Excellent written and oral communications skills -Must be available to attend work on a regular basis -Strong interpersonal and organizational skills -Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google, and social media.
