Marketing Intern

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team at Jhalak Dance Academy. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of marketing while contributing to the growth and success of our academy. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in dance and the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote Jhalak Dance Academy's programs, classes, and events.
• Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram) to increase brand awareness and engage with our target audience.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of social media posts and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the creation of promotional materials, including flyers, posters, and digital graphics, to support marketing efforts.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth in the dance education industry.
• Support the planning and coordination of academy events, workshops, and performances to ensure successful execution.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns, including content creation and list management.
• Help maintain the academy's website by updating content, class schedules, and announcements.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a High School Diploma or higher degree or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms for marketing purposes.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content.
• Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) is a plus.
• Passion for dance, arts, and culture is preferred. Knowledge of Bollywood is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
