Flower Bomb Media Branding & Graphic Design Internship is designed to give the intern an overview of the fashion and beauty industries, with a focus on magazine layout and editing, graphic design, marketing, and public relations materials. Throughout the course of the internship, the intern will: Create and implement effective multi-­media marketing campaigns such as email campaigns, assist with the creation of sponsorship packages and media kits, etc., to market and promote Flower Bomb Media [and it’s affiliates New Face, Dreamlette and Charley] in accordance with the current marketing plan; Create art and design multimedia content that is tailored to the brand image and that incorporates elements of current fashion and beauty industry trends; Select and edit product media in the style of the brand; Create and edit graphics for social networking sites and website articles; Furthermore, the work completed during the course of the internship will allow the intern to create a design portfolio to use for future endeavors.

Key Duties

  • Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to the deadline.
  • Create and design digital materials for websites, social media graphics and banners, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates.
  • Create custom graphics for digital articles/interviews to be posted directly on our websites and complementary graphics for Pinterest.
  • Create and produce templates and processes that drive standardization and efficiency
  • Learn the ins and outs of target markets in order to support creativity with regards to design elevating stories within those markets
  • Design, coordinate and produce all magazine collateral materials as needed
  • Design, coordinate and produce magazine layout and magazine cover concept by illustrating a rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts for New Face and it's affiliates.


Requirements/Skills  

  • Intermediate to Expert use of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Documents, and email.
  • Proficient English Grammar and writing skills.   
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Intern must complete all assignments and activities as directed.
  • Intern must adhere to the Flower Bomb Media Team Expectations guide.
