JUNTOS is currently seeking a Community Organizing Intern to support the development of our multiple social justice campaigns.
This position will be supervised by the Community Organizer and will require some in-person activities in the office and in the South Philadelphia community. Through their work, the Intern will move between the following campaigns: immigration reform, anti-detention and housing justice.
The Intern will be responsible for developing and translating political education materials and informational documents; preparing for community meetings; creating social media content; and expanding the base of the organization. The successful candidate will also support the overall programming and administrative needs of the organization’s ongoing campaigns.
A qualified applicant will have experience with canvassing, policy research and analysis, organizing in BIPOC communities and/or facilitation. This position will be hybrid virtual/in-person.
