SWAN’s mission is to deliver accessible, immersive, and authentic Mandarin language learning opportunities and foster deep connections to Chinese culture. We empower learners with language and cultural competence to successfully navigate a global community. While providing early language learning opportunities that take full advantage of both traditional and innovative teaching techniques, advanced technologies, and strategic partnerships, SWAN seeks to share its best practices and replicate its success. SWAN’s Teaching Interns gain hands-on experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and child development. While this position is unpaid, it is eligible for community service hours, school credit, and/or the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. This position is on-site. Schedule is flexible, weekdays afternoons from 2:15pm-6pm and/or Saturday mornings.
