Description
We strive to utilize our market presence in the entertainment industries of sports, dance, fashion and
gaming to positively influence local communities, while bridging gaps globally to improve communities
throughout the world. UPG seeks to expose the arts and empower younger generations with viable
development solutions and opportunities.
This internship is for Menfes Interactive, UPG's technology consulting arm in service of several clients and
projects. The right applicant would be able to work with the executive and marketing team to design,
program and perform SEO for sites using Wordpress and/or other CMS. Applicant must be willing to learn
new software, languages and techniques within block-chain and NFT programming.
Applicant must be results driven, a self starter, creative
and work well with a team or alone to meet deadlines. This internship will give insight and knowledge
of the Animation, Entertainment and Educational industries from a marketing perspective.

Requirements
- Provide daily development support for the Marketing Department.
- Conduct development research for clients, as needed.
- Work with database systems including MySQL.
- Work with off-the-shelf and open source CMS systems such as SharePoint, Drupal and WordPress.
- Work on projects including web layout enhancements, desktop applications, website enhancements, web-based applications, and database-backed websites.
- Test company websites with multiple browsers in order to maximize traffic capabilities.
- Senior undergraduate currently enrolled in a college or university.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Understanding of cross-browser issues and W3C standards.
- Knowledge of PHP programming language.
