Description
As a music intern with WJMS you will be assisting with the following:
HOURS:
The hours of this internship are very flexible. We simply ask that you put in the effort required to represent the business professionally.
STATION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
INTERNSHIP SPECIFIC PROJECTS/CHALLENGES:
NOTE:
The workload will be alternated during this internship so that there will be a week of playlist content, followed by an album review, followed by another playlist update and one more artist interview to fill the month.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate for this position should be passionate about music and the music industry. Aspiring artists, producers or music majors will excel in this role. We prefer students who have experience with interviewing and audio editing. Students must be able to coordinate scheduling and work independently to complete tasks.
At this time, WJMS Media internships are only open to College Students. We do not accept High School Student applicants.
Requirements
Weekly video call with key stakeholders and other interns to go over projects, tasks and business needs.
