What We're Looking For:


  1. An incoming junior or senior pursuing a degree in English, Communication, Marketing, Food and Nutrition Science or other related area -3.2 GPA or higher.
  2. Demonstration of outstanding verbal and written communications skills as well as interpersonal skills
  3. Ability to multi-task
  4. Must have great attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks -Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or other design software, as well as Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Windows, PowerPoint,

  • Passion for Health, food and nutrition science
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with social media platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Google drive and Excel

Since 1998, The Functional Food Center (FFC) has been a pioneer in the functional food industry, combining cutting-edge expertise in the biomedical sciences with practical business experience in order to aid in further research, development, and commercialization of functional food innovations in both domestic and international markets. The FFC connects a global network of professionals (scientists, functional food experts, and food industry representatives) to an environment conducive to innovative research collaboration. Additionally, Food Science Publisher specializes in publishing books in the field of functional food science, nutrition, bioactive compounds, chronic diseases and development of functional food products. Functional foods are part of a normal dietary food intake for optimized nutrition. The Functional Food Center defines “functional foods” as “Natural or processed foods that contain biologically-active compounds; which, in defined, effective non-toxic amounts, provide a clinically proven and documented health benefit utilizing specific biomarkers, for the prevention, management, or treatment of chronic disease or its symptoms.”
