As a social media intern with WJMS you will be assisting with the following:
HOURS:
The hours of this internship are semi-flexible. Posting on social media can happen at any time outside of live programming hours, as long as it is appropriate and engaging.
STATION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

NOTE:
We are interested in great content that will bring in great audiences. You will be made admins on the social media pages for WJMS Media and we ask that you watch the trends and the posts and capitalize on what is working.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate for this position will be well-versed in social media promotion. Passionate about connecting with others and networking. Creative in their approach to promoting and curating content. The ideal candidate should be flexible with deadlines, able to work independently, and able to think outside the box to generate new and unique ideas. We prefer content creators in this role to maximize efficiency.
At this time, WJMS Media internships are only open to College Students. We do not accept High School Student applicants.

Requirements
Weekly video call with key stakeholders and other interns to go over projects, tasks and business needs.
