Description

Functional Food Center (FFC) is seeking interns who can assist the CEO, Dr. Danik Martirosyan, with tasks and correspondence pertaining to various projects and programs from the Functional Foods Center. This is a great opportunity to add to your resume and portfolio.

This position consists of:

Correspondence with various scientists and professionals in the scientific field pertaining to the Functional Foods Center's academic journals, certification programs, or international conferences
Assisting in the planning and organizing of the Functional Foods Center's annual International Conferences
Overseeing the applicant pool of the multiple internship programs at the Functional Food Center.

Requirements

Preferred:

Currently, a university student or recent graduate
Proficiency in Linkedin
Microsoft Office
Google Drive
Resident of the United States

Additionally, Food Science Publisher specializes in publishing books in the field of functional food science, nutrition, bioactive compounds, chronic diseases and development of functional food products. Functional foods are part of a normal dietary food intake for optimized nutrition. The Functional Food Center defines “functional foods” as “Natural or processed foods that contain biologically-active compounds; which, in defined, effective non-toxic amounts, provide a clinically proven and documented health benefit utilizing specific biomarkers, for the prevention, management, or treatment of chronic disease or its symptoms.”
