We are looking for a strong Project Manager to ensure effective teamwork and fulfillment of our goals and mission. The Project manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. In this role, you will coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to track and deliver various projects.


Please note that this is a REMOTE position. Although the position is UNPAID, College credit and/or a letter of recommendation will be provided at the end of the internship if needed. The internship is also open to undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide input to and update program roadmaps, consistently evaluating progress and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs, requirements, and/or costs.
  • Utilize change management techniques and processes, help drive program delivery across the organization.
  • Partner with team members from interns to executives to keep them accountable for their deliveries.
  • Develop success-based project plans, with timelines, deliverables, and pivot-points.
  • Be able to balance multiple projects simultaneously throughout the internship.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Delegate project tasks based on skill sets and experience levels of interns.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Attend conferences, meetings and training as required to maintain proficiency

Requirements

  • Must have experience managing teams.
  • Proven working experience as a project administrator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience:

  • Project Management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Project Planning: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Training: 1 year (Preferred)
